Sunflower Fields in Northwest Indiana
Johnsons Farm
Johnson’s Farm Produce has planted a few sunflower patches. They offer sunflower U Pick. In addition to their sunflower fields, they have also planted a field of zinnias. Pets are not allowed.

Where: 8960 East Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342 (located about 41 miles from Chicago and 10 miles from Gary, Indiana)
When: Sunflower Fun Farm Weekend dates are expected to be September 12-13, 19-20 and 26-27, 2026 (weather dependent).
Hours: 10am-6pm (last admission is 5pm) on Saturdays and Sundays only.
Cost: Sunflower pricing TBD. Fun Farm admission is $15 per person for all farm activities (except the train and produce cannons) OR $25 for an all access pass per person for all farm activities.
County Line Orchard
County Line Orchard has a sunflower patch but this farm has a lot of fun activities for kids including apple picking, tractor rides, a kid farm, corn maze and more. Check their Facebook page and Instagram for most current information.

Dates: The best sunflower picking is from mid to late September.
Hours: 9am – 6pm daily

Harvest Tyme Pumpkin Patch
Harvest Tyme Pumpkin Patch will feature over a dozen varieties of sunflowers ranging in colors from tradition yellows, oranges, reds, and white. Pets are not allowed.

Cost: Access to Sunflower Fields is included with Fall Festival General Admission ($18.95 per person in advance online OR $22.95 per person onsite). Kids 2 and Under are free. Take home sunflower prices are: $2 per sunflower, $10 for 6 sunflowers, $18 for 12 sunflowers, $20 for Mason Jar (all you can fit) of sunflowers.
Sunflower Fields in Michiana
Field to Vase U-Pick Flower Farm
Field to Vase U-Pick Flower Farm has u-pick sunflowers and other flowers periodically available from July through early-October. Leashed dogs are allowed.

Sunflower Fields in Central Indiana Near Indianapolis
Spencer’s Farm
Spencer Farm has over 3 acres of sunflowers. They also have a winery and a market with fresh baked pies, homemade fudge, pre-picked blackberries, and extra sweet watermelons. Dates: Opening July 16, 2026.
Hours: Monday-Saturdays 9 am – 6 pm & Sundays 12:00 pm – 6 pm (last entry to field is 5:30pm)
Cost: There is a $5 entrance fee per person to enter the field. 5 years old or under enter for free. $3 per stem to cut a sunflower (no need to bring supplies, they will supply you with everything you need).
Stuckey Farm
Stuckey Farm has over 165,000 sunflowers on 7 acres. Check their facebook page or website for details and to purchase tickets in advace.
Where: 19975 Hamilton Boone Rd, Sheridan, IN 46069 (located 34 miles north of Indianapolis)
When: 2026 dates have not yet been announced. In 2025, the Stuckey Farm’s Sunflower Festival took place August 30–September 1, 2025 and the second bloom took place September 6–7, 2025.
Hours: Saturday 10am-7pm & Sunday 1-7pm
Cost: Tickets are $16 online or $18 at the gate. Children age 2 years old and under are free.
Tuttle Orchards
Tuttle Orchards has a U-Cut Flower Garden with over 10,000 plants and over 30 varieties of flowers including Sunflowers, Zinnias, Celosia, Cosmos and Accent Plants.

Cost: $10 – $40 depending upon the container you select for the flowers. There is no cost for entry just the price of flowers. Single bloom sunflowers if desired outside of a bouquet are $3 when available.
Beasley’s Orchard
Beasley’s Orchard has planted over 6 acres of sunflowers and and 2 acres of other flower varieties including zinnias, snapdragons and more. Visitors can take photographs, and pick your own sunflowers. Well-behaved on leash dogs are allowed.

Cost: $3 field fee per person as well as for the jar that they choose. Ages 2 and under are free. Small Mason Jar (fits roughly a half dozen flowers): $10, Medium Mason Jar (fits roughly a dozen flowers): $20; Large Bucket (fits roughly 2 dozen flowers): $35.
The Barn at Helm
The Barn at Helm has a great sunflower field and u-pick flowers. They have over 80 different varieties of flowers & sunflowers. In addition to sunflowers they have multiple other flower types including high end flowers (dahlias, lisianthus, gladiola, etc) included in UPick.

Cornucopia Farm
Cornucopia Farm will have 2 acres of sunflowers and 2 acres of zinnias. Wagon rides will take visitors to both the pumpkin and sunflower U-pick patches as well as the 6-acre corn maze, the petting farm, giant slides, cow train and more.
