Sunflower Farms in Southeast Wisconsin
There are several sunflower fields located near Chicago and Milwaukee in Southeast Wisconsin. These sunflower fields and mazes make for a great day trip from Chicago or Milwaukee in the summer and early fall.
Thompson Strawberry Farm
Thompson Strawberry Farm has acres of sunflowers with a variety of blooms. They have created winding mowed paths that let you stroll right through the flowers, immersing you in the vibrant beauty of the sunflowers from the inside out, and sprawling grassy areas and charming walkways where you can bask in the summer sun, or take a peaceful walk around the fields, soaking in the views.
They also have several photo ops including a giant butterfly, rustic bench, vintage tractor, and piano. In addition to sunflowers, they also have zinnias and wildflowers.
Don’t forget to bring something to cut the flowers with as well as a vase or bag to put them in (water will be provided for your flowers).

Jelli’s Market
Jelli’s Market has a sunflower field as well as blueberries to pick, and sweet corn for sale in their farm store and off farm produce stands.

Lannon Sunflower Farm
Lannon Sunflower Farm will have sunflowers as well as zinnias and wildflowers in bloom. Well mannered dogs on a leash are welcome. Be sure to bring own clippers or scissors (they have a few extras if you forget) to cut your flowers and a vase, bucket, bag or container to bring them home in. They will also have a kids corn maze and wildflower gardens.

Busy Barns Adventure Farm
Busy Barns Adventure Farm has a sunflower meadow with fun hidden photo spots.

Sunflower Farms in South Central Wisconsin (Near Madison)
These sunflower farms are located near Madison and are also close to the Illinois border.
Eugster’s Farm Market
Eugster’s Farm Market is hosting their 9th annual Sunflower Days with over 500,000 sunflowers across over 10 acres. The sunflowers are in their closer field this year, only about a 2 minute walk from their petting farm.
They also have two wildflower patches, huge zinnia field, Ag-Venture Trail, baby goat play pen, orchard, vineyard, and 15-acre Petting Farm with lots of farm animals.
Professional and amateur photographers are welcome during open hours, there are no private appointments.

Skelly’s Farm Market
Skelly’s Farm Market has 30 different varieties of sunflowers in their 6 acre field. They have 16 prop stop locations spread throughout the field featuring different items to take pictures with including a makeshift hot air balloon. They also have selfie holders to put your phone in.
They also have 2 large wagons used as viewing platforms so you can see above the flowers.

Dates: The sunflower field is opening July 23, 2026 for approximately 2.5 weeks.
Hours: Daily 9am – 8:30pm, last entry at 7:30pm.
Cost: Every guest age 4 and older must pay admission (3 and under are free). There are different admission levels. The lowest price admission level is the Single Flower Experience: $9/child ages 4-12 or $12/adult ages 13+ includes admission to the field, 1 cut sunflower to take home, a choice of donut from their bakery, and 10% off sunflower gifts in their retail barn.

Dates: The sunflower field opened August 5 through late August, 2026.
Hours: Open to the public anytime.
Cost: FREE. They ask visitors leave a non-perishable food donation to benefit Peyton’s Promise.

Pumpkin Hollow
Pumpkin Hollow has lots of colors of sunflowers and many other flowers to choose from as well. Any photographers booking sessions with clients are asked to use their booking APP for sessions.

Dates: Sunflowers will open July 22, 2026 into September, 2026. Peak is expected to be most of August. See their facebook page for updates.

Cost: Sunflowers $.25 a bloom and cut flowers $.10 a bloom.
Kelley Country Creamery
Kelley Country Creamery is a dairy farm with pastured cows and award-winning ice cream. Guests are NOT allowed to pick or cut the sunflowers.

Cost: There is no admission fee to visit the sunflower field, but a suggested donation ($3 per person) is requested. Cash only. They will be offering a five sunflower bouquet for a suggested donation of $10. 100% of all donations go to the Old Glory Honor Flight. Sopa Fairview Farm
Sopa Fairview Farm has approximately 500,000 sunflowers in their field. See their facebook page for updates.

Dates: Opened August 28, 2026 and still in in bloom. Update: As of September 12, 2026, the sunflowers are at their peak and are expected to stay there through September 19, 2026.
Hours: Open sunup to sundown every day as long as the sunflowers are in bloom.
Cost: No set fee to visit. A bucket is in the field, free will offerings are greatly appreciated.
